Mother's Day LESSON
Bible Story: Ephesians 6:1-3
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
ACTIVITES
1. What I like about you . . .
Write and decorate a letter to your mother.
Draw a picture that goes along with what you like about your mom.
Here are Some examples:
I like the way you read to me
I like the way you help me when I’m hurt
I like it when you pray for me at bedtime
I like it when you hug me
I like it when you take me shopping

2. "Mothers of the Bible"Matching Game
-
Print the cards and cut them apart.
-
Shuffle the cards and lay them face down in rows on the table.

The first player turns over two cards so that everyone can see them.
-
If the cards match, the player keeps them. (Picture 1)

If they don’t match, turn them back over in the same locations. (Picture 2)
-
Players take turns until all the pairs are matched.
-
The winner is the player with the most pairs. (Picture 3)
