Lesson 16 –DANIEL

In this lesson we’re going to go through the book of Daniel, one of the Major Prophets. When Daniel was a young man, he was

taken captive.  What would it feel like to be rounded up and made to move to a foreign country?  The rest of the book of Daniel contains dreams and visions God gave Daniel of the near future and the distant future. Daniel served several kings in both the Babylonian and Medo-Persian empires. Because of Daniel’s wise service, these kings acknowledged and praised Daniel’s God—the one true God. Even though he was a captive, far from his home country, Daniel brought honor to God.
